Arabic Language Overview

READING WRITING SPEAKING LISTENING
The Arabic language is a key part of the foundation of an Islamic education. Therefore, the Arabic curriculum is implemented at all levels of a student’s educational journey starting with our very youngest students and continues up to graduation.  Throughout their journey the student is taught four main skills: reading, writing, cognition and speech. To make this possible, the curriculum has been set up to help the student continuously build upon what he/she has learned with the goal of becoming fluent in Arabic.  To ensure our students always receive the highest level of proficiency in the language, our Arabic teachers enroll in several training programs throughout the year to steadily adapt and improve their teaching techniques.  All Arabic teachers have engaged in a professional development program geared to specifically teaching our curriculum.
